Shares

In 2009, Corio’s share price (closing) rose from € 32.89 (on 31 December 2008) to € 47.69 (on 31 December 2009), an increase of 45%. The lowest closing share price in 2009 was € 25.87, reached on 9 March 2009 and the highest share price was € 49.20, reached on 16 November 2009. In 2009 on average 300,800 shares were traded per day (2008: 438,421 and 2007: 350,634). This is lower than the previous periods because we believe that in general fewer hedge funds (or short term funds) invested in property shares and a number of investors tended to keep the shares instead of going for short term gain.
